Drawing equally from a sonic palette that boasts breakbeats, disco rhythms, funk, dub and (most beautifully) trip hop – "Get With It" is beautiful – the venerable Joss sculpts a brilliant electronic landscape that is at once spontaneous and organic. Chris' trademark proclivity with '70s blaxploitation themes remains a pervasive theme throughout this gorgeous collection; on tracks like "Fatality Strikes", "Slack The Slammer" and "Surgelator Action", Chris keeps the soul, while also expanding the consciousness of the listener.
